Introduction to Classification of Die Steel
Cold rolled mold steel Including cold stamping die, wire drawing die, drawing die, stamping die, wire rolling die, wire rolling plate, cold heading die and cold extrusion die. Steel for cold working dies should have high hardness, strength, wear resistance, sufficient toughness, high hardenability, hardening capacity and other technological properties according to the working conditions of the dies manufactured by it.
Hot rolled die steel It can be divided into hammer forging, die forging, extrusion and die casting, including hot forging die, press forging die, stamping die, hot extrusion die and metal die casting die. The hot deformation die not only has to bear huge mechanical stress, but also has to bear repeated heating and cooling, which causes great thermal stress. Hot-working die steel should not only have high hardness, strength, red hardness, wear resistance and toughness, but also have good high-temperature strength, thermal fatigue stability, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and also require high hardenability to ensure consistent mechanical properties of the whole section.
Plastic die steel Include thermoplastic molds and thermoset molds. Use of die steel
Cold working die steel Cold-working die steel is mainly used to manufacture dies for pressing and forming cold workpieces.
